INTINERARY:

Cu Chi Tunnels is a legendary tunnel system with more than 220 km of tunnels, a must-see attraction for both Vietnamese and International tourists who are interested in the history of the Vietnam War. The tunnels are now a historical structure of Vietnam and are considered a heroic district because of their role in the resistance against the US during the Vietnam War. The tunnels are located about 60 km from Ho Chi Minh City. The tour departs at 8:00am or 12:45am from the meeting point. Enjoy the scenery along the way, as we pass by immense rice fields, Lush and flocks of ducks, water buffalo swimming in the river. You can hardly imagine that this area was once almost completely destroyed by landmines from the wartime, when Cu Chi was still a “bomb target area”.

Once we get there, you’ll have the chance to walk through some of the tunnels, explore hidden corners and imagine what life was like here for the resistance soldiers. If you like, try cooking with the smokeless stoves used by Vietnamese soldiers to cook during the war. You can even try the foods that the soldiers used. If you’re feeling brave or curious, you can even try shooting the AK-47, one of the guns used in the war.

The tour ends at 2:30pm or 7:00pm.
