MEKONG DELTA – CAN THO – 2 DAYS PRIVATE TOUR

Depart from Ho Chi Minh City in the morning and travel to the Mekong Delta.

Upon arrival in My Tho, visit Vinh Trang Pagoda, a beautiful blend of Vietnamese, Chinese, and Khmer architectural styles.

Continue with a boat cruise on the Tien River to explore the famous Four Sacred Islets (Dragon, Unicorn, Phoenix, and Tortoise). Walk through a peaceful local village, taste fresh tropical fruits, listen to traditional Southern Vietnamese folk music (Don Ca Tai Tu), and enjoy a relaxing hand-rowed sampan ride through narrow coconut palm canals.

At midday, transfer to Ben Tre, known as the “Kingdom of Coconut”. Visit a traditional coconut candy workshop to learn about local production and sample handmade sweets. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant featuring regional specialties.

In the afternoon, unwind on a hammock or take a short walk  trip around the quiet countryside villages.

Later, continue to Can Tho, check in at a 4-stars hotel, and enjoy free time in the evening to explore the riverside or night market.

Start early with a scenic boat trip to Cai Rang Floating Market, the most vibrant floating market in the Mekong Delta. Watch dozens of boats trading fresh fruits and vegetables, experience the unique river lifestyle, and enjoy a cup of Vietnamese coffee right on the water. Visit a traditional rice noodle factory and explore a lively local wet market.

Return to the hotel for breakfast and check-out.

On the way back to Ho Chi Minh City, stop at Vo’s Ancient House — a beautifully preserved traditional Southern Vietnamese house. Discover its unique architecture, learn about local heritage, and join a hands-on “bánh xèo” (Vietnamese savory pancake) cooking class. Enjoy the dishes you prepare for lunch.

Arrive back in Ho Chi Minh City in the late afternoon or early evening. End of tour.
